The vintage car and motorcycle rally touring the Biella valleys in memory of Enrico Leone
The Enrico Leone Memorial Vintage Car and Motorcycle Rally is one of the most cherished events in the calendar of Pollone, a small town in the Province of Biella, Piedmont, located at the gates of the Burcina Park. Organized by the Pro Loco of Pollone APS with the patronage of the Municipality, the rally is dedicated to the memory of Enrico Leone, a Biella entrepreneur and passionate vintage car collector who passed away on October 24, 2017. Since its first edition in 2019, the event has become a classic of the Biella spring, attracting dozens of historic cars and motorcycles with their owners every year.
The heart of the event is the scenic tour of the Biella valleys: a parade of vintage cars and motorcycles that, starting from Pollone, crosses the territory, touching villages, outlets, mountain huts, and characteristic local spots, amidst hills and glimpses of the Biella Alps. Past editions have included stops at the Gli Orsi shopping center in Biella, the Modesto Bertotto Outlet in Verrone, the Donkey Refuge (Rifugio degli Asinelli) in Sala Biellese, and food and wine stops, before returning to Pollone for a convivial lunch and the public exhibition of the vehicles in Piazza San Rocco and near Burcina Park.
Beyond the passion for engines, the Enrico Leone Memorial stands out for its charitable vocation. The Pro Loco has repeatedly donated proceeds to solidarity initiatives: for the fifth edition, for example, 2,000 euros were donated to LILT (Italian League for the Fight Against Cancer), Reggio Emilia section, a choice also linked to the personal history of Enrico Leone and his family, who are still involved in the organization.
An unmissable appointment for historic motor enthusiasts and for those who want to experience a Sunday dedicated to tradition and solidarity in the Biella area.
The 2026 Enrico Leone Memorial Vintage Car and Motorcycle Rally was held in Pollone (BI) on the weekend of June 5-7, 2026. The program kicked off on Friday, June 5 with an evening gathering starting at 9:00 PM in Piazza Delleani. The highlight of the event took place on Sunday, June 7, with the departure of the rally from Piazza San Rocco and the subsequent scenic tour through the Biella valleys, ending with a return to Pollone for an exhibition of historic vehicles open to the public. The event, organized by the Pro Loco of Pollone APS, confirmed its dual nature as a motoring festival and a charity initiative for 2026.
Full details of the route and times are published by the Pro Loco of Pollone (the "PROGRAM" form and 2026 car/motorcycle registration forms are available on the official website).
