The celebration of Easter Monday in the Collio Goriziano
For the people of Cormòns, Easter Monday means an outdoor celebration. Pasquetta a Cormòns is the event that has drawn families, groups of friends, and visitors from all over the Collio Goriziano for years to spend Easter Monday together amidst good food, music, and fun, organized by the Pro Loco of Cormòns.
The event is divided into three main areas designed for every type of audience: the food area, with stands open all day and over two hundred seats for communal dining; the music area, enlivened by live bands and DJ sets from morning till evening; and the children's area, with magic shows, balloon sculpting, and dedicated entertainment for the little ones.
Among the star flavors of the food area are grilled meats, fried specialties, Collio wines, beer, and ice cream, in a triumph of taste that accompanies the day. The festival opens with the flag-raising ceremony by the Alpini group of Cormòns and Holy Mass, striking a balance between moments of tradition and hours of pure leisure.
The Cormòns Easter Monday celebration traditionally takes place on the plateau of Monte Quarin, the symbolic hill of the town. Due to safety work, the festival is held in Piazza XXIV Maggio, in the town center, demonstrating how the community's enthusiasm knows no bounds. With the support of the Municipality of Cormòns, it remains one of the most cherished spring festivals in the area.
The 2026 edition takes place on Monday, April 6th, from 9:30 AM to 8:00 PM, in Piazza XXIV Maggio (exceptionally in the center, instead of Monte Quarin, due to safety work). The day is organized into three areas — food, music, and children — with stands open all day, live bands, DJ sets, and entertainment for the little ones.
All day: food area with over 200 seats (grills, fried foods, Collio wines, beer, and ice cream) and children's area with magic shows and balloon sculpting by the Parents' Association.
Cormòns is located in the province of Gorizia, in the Collio region, reachable by car from the SS56 and by train (station on the Udine-Trieste line). The festival takes place in Piazza XXIV Maggio, in the town center.
Free admission. Food and drinks are paid for at the food area.
From 9:30 AM to 8:00 PM.
