Easter Markets in Limone Piemonte

During the Easter weekend, the historic center of Limone Piemonte, a renowned mountain resort in the Maritime Alps in the Province of Cuneo (Piedmont), transforms into a large open-air market. The Easter Markets combine the tradition of alpine craftsmanship with fun for the whole family, in an atmosphere where the mountain backdrop meets the magic of the Easter holidays, amidst the scent of freshly baked treats and the work of local artisans.

The Craft Market

The heart of the event is the craft and local products fair, with over 60 exhibitors enlivening the town streets. Among the stalls, you will find wood, ceramic, and fabric creations, natural cosmetics, and local food and wine specialties, from honey and hazelnuts to Easter sweets. It is a showcase of artisan expertise that highlights the work of the valley's workshops.

Activities for Families

The program is packed with activities dedicated to children and families:

• Fairground rides and attractions in Piazza del Municipio, the town center, open for all ages;
• Creative workshops for decorating Easter eggs;
• The traditional Easter egg treasure hunt and classic Sunday games;
• Shooting galleries, toy fishing, giant soap bubbles, and clown shows;
• The Easter Island, a free workshop trail hosted at the Ski Museum-Library.

Music, Flavors, and Roving Performers

There is no shortage of live music: on Saturday evening, Piazza del Municipio hosts a highly anticipated Zucchero tribute concert. The food stands offer delicious apple fritters, a true sweet symbol of the event, while Easter Monday is dedicated to roving performances by jugglers and stilt walkers who animate the town center.

A New Spring Tradition

Inaugurated in 2025 with the first Easter Markets, the Easter events in Limone Piemonte have quickly established themselves as one of the highlights of the town's spring calendar. The formula combining craftsmanship, mountain gastronomy, family entertainment, and music makes Easter in Limone an ideal opportunity to discover the alpine village outside the ski season, when the mountains of the Province of Cuneo are painted with the colors of spring.
