Dutchweek Italia: The orange winter of Sauze d'Oulx

For one week every March, the alpine village of Sauze d'Oulx, located in the Upper Susa Valley in the Province of Turin, transforms into the Italian capital of Dutch festivities. Dutchweek Italia is a major Made in Holland event, organized by Dutchweek.nl since 2013, which mixes winter sports, après-ski, and live music in an atmosphere of pure orange energy. It is no coincidence that Dutchweek was born right here in Sauze d'Oulx; this is the historic home, the place where it all started.

Ski by day, party until dawn

The formula is simple and exhilarating: ski by day on the slopes of the Via Lattea ski area and party from the afternoon until late at night. With over 400 km of trails ranging from 1,350 to 2,823 meters in altitude, the Via Lattea offers runs for every skill level, from green to black, accessible directly from the village via the ski lifts.

The beating heart of the event is found in the mountain huts and town venues, where DJs and musicians arriving directly from the Netherlands take turns at the decks. The organization and artists are 100% Dutch, although the audience has become increasingly international over time. The festivities unfold across three iconic locations: Capanna Kind, Bar Hotel Assietta, and Miravallino.

A staple of the local calendar

Having consolidated its position year after year, Dutchweek has become a cornerstone of the Sauze d'Oulx tourist season: a week that brings thousands of ski and music enthusiasts to the village, painting the slopes, bars, and streets of the center in orange. Access to many of the snow parties is free, while evening club parties require a ticket. This event is designed for an adult audience (18+) looking for the perfect mix of sport, entertainment, and socializing in the high mountains.
