About Dui Turnant Hillclimb

In the small village of Brondello, in the province of Cuneo, engines roar once again on the road winding up to the Colletta di Brondello. The Dui Turnant e Dui Mundài Hillclimb is a non-competitive motoring event with no timing or rankings: sports cars, racing cars, and rally vehicles perform on a 4.3 km stretch closed to traffic, part of the historic Rally Valli Cuneesi route. A day of passion, adrenaline, and spectacle for the public, held in complete safety.

A historic climb in the heart of the Saluzzo area

The Dui Turnant e Dui Mundài Hillclimb is a non-competitive motoring event held in Brondello, a small village in the province of Cuneo nestled in the valleys of the Saluzzo area, in Piedmont. The event brings engines back to the scenic road that climbs from Brondello to the Colletta di Brondello, a 4.3-kilometer stretch that is part of the legendary Rally Valli Cuneesi route.

Exhibitions, not a race

Unlike a real competition, there is no timing or ranking here: the goal is to offer the public a safe and entertaining show, filled with the roar of engines and skilled driving. Along the climb, which is closed to traffic for the occasion, sports cars, racing cars, and rally vehicles—with or without license plates—take to the road. Entries are limited to a maximum of 30 vehicles to ensure quality and safety for every run.

The meaning of the name

The Piedmontese dialect name "Dui Turnant e Dui Mundài" refers on one hand to the hairpin bends of the climb and on the other to mundài, the roasted chestnuts typical of local tradition: the first edition, in October 2025, was in fact part of the Chestnut Festival program in Brondello, confirming the bond between motors and the region's rural roots.

Organization

The event is organized by ASD CV SC Events, chaired by Josef Saglietto with vice-president Luca Pelazza, in collaboration with the Municipality of Brondello. For the public, there are designated safety areas, as well as bars and refreshment points along the route.

For motor enthusiasts

  • 4.3 km stretch from Brondello to the Colletta di Brondello
  • Road closed to traffic for the entire day
  • Five official hillclimb exhibitions throughout the day
  • Maximum of 30 vehicles admitted
  • Free admission for the public in designated areas
