A non-competitive hillclimb exhibition on the historic Rally Valli Cuneesi road
The Dui Turnant e Dui Mundài Hillclimb is a non-competitive motoring event held in Brondello, a small village in the province of Cuneo nestled in the valleys of the Saluzzo area, in Piedmont. The event brings engines back to the scenic road that climbs from Brondello to the Colletta di Brondello, a 4.3-kilometer stretch that is part of the legendary Rally Valli Cuneesi route.
Unlike a real competition, there is no timing or ranking here: the goal is to offer the public a safe and entertaining show, filled with the roar of engines and skilled driving. Along the climb, which is closed to traffic for the occasion, sports cars, racing cars, and rally vehicles—with or without license plates—take to the road. Entries are limited to a maximum of 30 vehicles to ensure quality and safety for every run.
The Piedmontese dialect name "Dui Turnant e Dui Mundài" refers on one hand to the hairpin bends of the climb and on the other to mundài, the roasted chestnuts typical of local tradition: the first edition, in October 2025, was in fact part of the Chestnut Festival program in Brondello, confirming the bond between motors and the region's rural roots.
The event is organized by ASD CV SC Events, chaired by Josef Saglietto with vice-president Luca Pelazza, in collaboration with the Municipality of Brondello. For the public, there are designated safety areas, as well as bars and refreshment points along the route.
