Musical Roots at the Sforza Castle
Due Sud Una Sola Anima Roots is a roots music festival held in the Cortile delle Armi (Weapons Courtyard) of the Sforza Castle in Milan, Lombardy. It is a temporary transformation of the Comfort Festival, presented by Slow Music and Barley Arts, investigating the link between the musical traditions of two "souths" of the world: Mediterranean Naples and American New Orleans.
Between Naples and New Orleans
The common thread is that of roots: blues, soul, jazz, funk, and Neapolitan folk come together in evenings that celebrate the popular music of the two cities. A musical reflection on the concept of a shared "soul" between cultures geographically distant but close in spirit.
Major Guests
The program brings together leading Italian and international artists: from projects dedicated to Neapolitan music like Blues For Pino to guests from the New Orleans scene, and Italian singer-songwriters. The evenings take place in the unique setting of the Castle, one of Milan's iconic monuments.

Included in the rich calendar of summer events at the Sforza Castle, the festival is a must-attend for live music lovers. Organized by Barley Arts, a historic Italian concert production company, it offers an experience that combines artistic quality and the charm of the location.
