The great open-air techno and house season at Ex Macello in Milan
Vision Open Air is the festival that has brought major international electronic music outdoors to the heart of Milan, in the spaces of Ex Macello on viale Molise, in the Calvairate-Forlanini area (Municipality 4). A long season, spread over several events between spring and summer, which has made this location a key reference point for techno and house in the city.
The lineup features some of the most beloved protagonists of the global electronic scene. Among the names for the 2026 season are Ilario Alicante, Mochakk, East End Dubs, Franky Rizardo, and the techno queen Charlotte de Witte, who will close the season. Each date is a standalone event, with lineups built around a major headliner.
The open-air formula is Vision's trademark: the days start in the afternoon, around 5 PM, and continue until midnight, allowing attendees to experience the music in daylight and then under the stars. A format that has won over the Milanese public and beyond, attracting fans from all over Italy.
2026 marks an important transition: it's the last season of Vision Open Air at Ex Macello, an area designated for a major urban redevelopment project. From 2027, the event will move to a new location, opening a new chapter in its history. One more reason to experience this final season in a place that has defined Milan's electronic summer.
The 2026 edition of Vision Open Air, the third consecutive year at Ex Macello, is spread over several events from May to September. Each date features a major headliner from the international techno and house scene, in open-air days from afternoon to midnight.
The season opens on May 1 with Ilario Alicante and his audiovisual project "Link" and closes on September 5 with Charlotte de Witte. Among the dates are also Mochakk and a day with East End Dubs and Franky Rizardo. It's the festival's last season at this venue, which is slated for urban redevelopment.
The open-air days start around 5:00 PM and continue until midnight.
