About JazzMi

JazzMi is the festival that transforms Milan into the Italian capital of jazz every autumn. For almost three weeks, concerts, meetings, screenings and widespread activities liven up theaters, clubs and unconventional venues in the city, from Triennale Milano Teatro to Blue Note, from Alcatraz to Santeria. The programming focuses on the fusion of jazz, soul, funk, world music and electronics, with a lineup of top Italian and international artists.

Milan, capital of jazz

JazzMi is the main jazz festival of the Municipality of Milan (Lombardy) and one of the most important in Italy. Curated by the JAZZMI Association together with Ponderosa Music & Art and Triennale Milano Teatro, in collaboration with Blue Note Milano, it offers almost three weeks of music spread throughout the city every autumn. Its formula focuses on contamination: jazz in the broadest sense, open to soul, funk, world music, and electronics.

A city transformed into a stage

Concerts take place in a network of venues ranging from theaters to clubs, from institutional spaces to more alternative locations: Triennale Milano Teatro, Blue Note, Alcatraz, Santeria, BIKO, as well as the Teatro degli Arcimboldi and the Milan Conservatory. Alongside the major concerts, the festival offers a rich program of meetings, screenings, DJ sets, and free activities spread across the neighborhoods, making it an event capable of speaking to a wide and diverse audience.

An international lineup

Each edition brings together stars of world jazz and protagonists of the Italian scene, with a particular focus on new languages and emerging voices. JazzMi is now a highly anticipated event on Milan's cultural calendar, capable of bringing some of the greatest contemporary musicians to the city and promoting jazz as a living and constantly evolving music.

JazzMi — edition 2026
