Sunset concerts among the skyscrapers

BOOM BAM! is the music series at Biblioteca degli Alberi Milano (BAM), the public park in the Porta Nuova district, in the heart of Milan, Lombardy. The proposal is simple and powerful: a series of free outdoor concerts at sunset, with the greenery of the park and the skyscrapers of the new city skyline as a natural stage.

Italian musical traditions

The common thread is a journey through Italian musical traditions reinterpreted in a contemporary key. Four stages that cross Italy from north to south: pizzica and taranta from Salento, liscio from Romagna, Milanese folk songs, and electronic contaminations of Neapolitan origin.

A unique setting

The concerts are part of the rich free cultural program of the BAM park, which offers hundreds of events every year. The sunset format makes each evening particularly evocative, in a dialogue between music, nature, and contemporary architecture.
