The Dolomiti Blues & Soul Festival is a travelling music review that, every summer, lights up the villages of Cadore and Alto Bellunese with blues, funk, and soul concerts. Among its stops is Cortina d'Ampezzo, in the province of Belluno, which hosts the event in its most scenic square, Piazza Angelo Dibona.
A widespread review in Cadore
Now in its twenty-fifth edition, the festival distributes dozens of concerts among Pieve di Cadore, San Vito di Cadore, Borca di Cadore, Val di Zoldo, Belluno, and, indeed, Cortina. A "widespread" formula that enhances the small centres of the Dolomites and brings live black music to places of extraordinary natural charm.
The Twisters in Cortina
The 2026 Ampezzo stop features The Twisters with Alice Violato, a band whose sound blends blues, funk, and soul. The concert, with free admission, is held in Piazza Dibona and represents one of the most anticipated moments of Cortina's musical summer, where great music meets the UNESCO Dolomites scenery.

As part of the 25th edition of the Dolomiti Blues & Soul Festival, the Cortina d'Ampezzo stop takes place on Sunday, August 9, 2026, in Piazza Angelo Dibona.
On stage, The Twisters with Alice Violato, a historic band with an original sound mixing blues, funk, and soul. The concert begins at 6:00 PM and is free to enter.

Cortina d'Ampezzo is reached along the SS51 Alemagna; the nearest station is Calalzo-Pieve di Cadore-Cortina, connected by bus. Piazza Dibona is in the town centre.
