About Dolomiti Blues & Soul โ€“ San Vito

The Dolomiti Blues & Soul Festival brings some of the most anticipated concerts of its summer review to San Vito di Cadore: between the De Vido Sawmill and the Congress Hall, international blues, soul and funk artists take the stage, from the Blues Brothers' saxophonist Lou Marini to the British singer Sarah Jane Morris. In the heart of the Belluno Dolomites, a UNESCO heritage site, live music meets one of the most spectacular Alpine settings, often with free admission by donation.

The blues festival of the Dolomites

The Dolomiti Blues & Soul Festival is a travelling summer event that enlivens several municipalities in Cadore, in the heart of the Belluno Dolomites, a UNESCO heritage site. In 2026, it will reach its 25th edition, offering a programme of blues, soul, swing, and funk concerts with Italian and international artists between mid-July and the end of August, in evocative locations including historic sawmills, squares, and mountain halls.

The concerts in San Vito di Cadore

San Vito di Cadore, in the province of Belluno, is one of the festival's main stops and hosts multiple events. Concerts are held at the Segheria De Vido, a charming venue linked to the tradition of wood craftsmanship in Cadore, and at the town's Sala Congressi (Congress Hall). Here, internationally renowned swing, blues, and soul ensembles perform, with a programme ranging from the swing of the 1920s-30s to contemporary soul.

Big names and authentic atmosphere

Among the guests of recent editions are Lou Marini, the historic saxophonist of the Blues Brothers, and the British singer Sarah Jane Morris. The festival's format combines artistic quality and accessibility: many concerts are by free donation, while ticketed events feature major artists. Participating means experiencing great live music in one of the most fascinating corners of the Venetian Alps.
