Three days of flavor, wine, and music in the heart of Novi Ligure, awaiting the Corsa Rosa
Dolci Terre di Primavera is the food and wine event that every spring turns the historic center of Novi Ligure, in the province of Alessandria, into a large open-air market dedicated to local flavors. Born from the "Dolci Terre di Novi" territorial brand, the festival brings local producers, Piedmontese and Ligurian culinary excellence, and a rich selection of international cuisines to the city's streets and squares.
For 2026, the event takes on a special theme: it is titled Dolci Terre di Primavera in Rosa as it serves as a prelude to the arrival of the 12th stage of the Giro d'Italia (Imperia-Novi Ligure), scheduled for May 21st. The city of the legendary cyclist Costante Girardengo pays homage to the Corsa Rosa with a weekend that weaves together fine dining, wine, music, and sports culture.
Every evening, Piazza Dellepiane lights up with free concerts, ranging from 80s dance hits to tribute bands. The event also features the inaugural edition of the Sports Literature Festival, with book presentations, exhibitions, and talks dedicated to cycling and its champions, highlighting the strong bond between Novi Ligure and the history of cycling. A festival that unites the gastronomic tradition of the Novese and Alto Monferrato areas with the festive spirit of the wait for the Giro d'Italia.
The 2026 edition, titled Dolci Terre di Primavera in Rosa, took place from May 15th to 17th in the historic center of Novi Ligure, just days before the arrival of the 12th stage of the Giro d'Italia (Imperia-Novi Ligure) on May 21st. Between Piazza Dellepiane, Via Girardengo, Corso Marengo, and Piazza Carenzi, visitors enjoyed Wine Corners with guided tastings, an open-air wine bar, street food, a craft market, a funfair, and a free musical program every evening. The event was rounded off by the inaugural edition of the Sports Literature Festival.
Novi Ligure is accessible by car via the A7 motorway (Serravalle Scrivia exit) and the A26. By train, the Novi Ligure station is served by regional connections from Genoa, Alessandria, and Turin.
From Friday, May 15th to Sunday, May 17th, 2026. Approximate hours: Friday 6:00 PM โ 12:00 AM, Saturday 10:00 AM โ 1:00 AM, Sunday 10:00 AM โ 11:00 PM.
