Doberdò Festival

Summer in the Isonzo Karst

Doberdò del Lago, a small bilingual Italian-Slovenian municipality overlooking the homonymous Karst lake, celebrates summer with its festival. Organized by the SKRD-ARCS association, which has always been the driving force behind the town's cultural and social life, the Sagra di Doberdò enlivens the municipal park with two days of celebration featuring food, music, and conviviality.

Food and Celebration

The food stalls offer traditional Karst dishes, accompanied by musical evenings and DJ sets that get the crowd dancing until late. There are also card tournaments, from briscola onwards, a timeless moment of socialising at village festivals.

A Border Community

Doberdò del Lago is located in the heart of the Isonzo Karst, in a borderland rich in history and nature, where Italian and Slovenian traditions coexist. The festival is the most heartfelt expression of this community: a simple and genuine celebration that brings together residents and visitors.

Between Lake and Karst

Promoted by the SKRD-ARCS association with the support of the Municipality of Doberdò del Lago, the festival is also an opportunity to discover a fascinating corner of Friuli Venezia Giulia, between the Karst lake, the sinkholes, and the trails of the Isonzo Karst.
