About Delifest

Delifest is the cultural and musical festival held in Deliceto, a village nestled in the Monti Dauni area of the Foggia province. Launched in 2025, the event unfolds in two stages: June features author-led sessions dedicated to Neapolitan culture, while August hosts world music concerts with bands from across the globe. Held in the elementary school courtyard with free admission, the village transforms into an open-air stage filled with spoken word, theatre, jazz, and international rhythms. The second edition features Rai as the official media partner.

Delifest, the festival that lights up Deliceto

Delifest is the cultural and musical festival of Deliceto, a small town in the Monti Dauni, in the province of Foggia, in the heart of the sub-Apennine Puglia region. Conceived and organised by the South Side Music agency under the artistic direction of Gianni Di Carlo, the festival turns the village into a widespread stage where music engages in a dialogue with words, theatre, and storytelling.

A festival in two acts

The Delifest format is split into two distinct moments throughout the summer. The first part, at the end of June, is dedicated to author-led sessions and Neapolitan culture: actors, directors, musicians, and television personalities take the stage to share their stories with the public. The second part, in mid-August, shifts gears to world music, with ensembles from various countries bringing the sounds and rhythms of the world to Deliceto.

Neapolitan culture and great guests

The programme of author-led sessions weaves together cinema, music, theatre, and television. The festival stage has hosted and continues to host well-known names from the Neapolitan scene, from actors to percussionists, in evenings hosted by Rai journalist Francesca Silvestre. These free events are held in the elementary school courtyard, the symbolic heart of the festival.

A project for the village

Delifest was born within the «Mystica Harmonia» project, promoted by the Municipality of Deliceto and funded by the PNRR – Linea Borghi grants, designed to revitalise small towns through culture. The festival thus aims to enhance the identity of the Monti Dauni and introduce Deliceto and its historic centre to an ever-wider audience. In its second edition, Rai is the official media partner, a sign of the event's growth.

Delifest — edition 2026

The second edition of Delifest takes place in two stages: from June 26 to 28, 2026, featuring author-led sessions dedicated to Neapolitan culture, and from August 13 to 15, 2026, featuring world music concerts with international groups. All events are free and held in the elementary school courtyard of Deliceto, in the Monti Dauni.

Delifest 2026: the second edition

In 2026, Delifest returns to Deliceto with a second edition divided into two moments. At the end of June, author-led sessions celebrate Neapolitan culture through cinema, music, theatre, and television; in mid-August, three evenings of world music open the village to the sounds of the world. The sessions are hosted by Rai journalist Francesca Silvestre, while Rai is the official media partner of the event.

The events are held in the elementary school courtyard, with free admission, as part of the «Mystica Harmonia» project of the Municipality of Deliceto, funded by the PNRR – Linea Borghi grants.
