The City and its Sea
The Day of the Sea and Maritime Culture is the grand celebration dedicated to the maritime culture of La Spezia, the capital of a province that has always lived in close relationship with the sea. Established by national law, the day promotes the sea as a cultural, scientific, recreational, and economic resource, and in La Spezia, it finds one of its most heartfelt expressions, given the historic presence of the Arsenal and the Navy.
