Two days of engines, drifting, and solidarity in the heart of the Canavese region
The Cuorgnè Motor Show is the premier event dedicated to the world of motors that brings the town of Cuorgnè to life every year, located in the heart of the Canavese area, in the province of Turin, Piedmont. Originally started on a smaller scale in Busano, the event moved to Cuorgnè after a decade of activity, where it quickly captured a growing audience. The event takes place in the Ponte Vecchio area and is organized by the Team Fast Drivers, led by entrepreneur Francesco Diaco, with the patronage of the Piedmont Regional Council and the Municipality of Cuorgnè.
This is a non-competitive and non-timed automotive event: there are no rankings, just pure entertainment. For two days, the public can watch drifting exhibitions, rally car maneuvers, prototypes, and motor shows designed to engage both adults and children. The atmosphere is that of a large popular festival, filled with engine roars, burning tire smoke, and the cheers of enthusiasts arriving from all over the Canavese and Turin areas.
One of the core pillars of the Cuorgnè Motor Show is solidarity. The famous Taxi Drift allows the public to hop into cars to experience the thrill of drifting firsthand: the funds raised are donated to local organizations, specifically the Italian Red Cross - Cuorgnè Committee and the local Fire Brigade. Over the years, these donations have enabled, among other things, the purchase of a new defibrillator for the local Red Cross, proving how a passion for motors can translate into concrete benefits for the community.
More than just a car meet, the Cuorgnè Motor Show has become a gathering point for Cuorgnè and the entire Canavese region, attracting families, curious onlookers, and enthusiasts alike. The event takes place rain or shine, a testament to the dedication of the Team Fast Drivers and the many volunteers who make this two-day celebration of sport and fun in Piedmont possible every year.
The 2026 edition of the Cuorgnè Motor Show was held on Saturday, June 6th and Sunday, June 7th, 2026 in the Ponte Vecchio area, Cuorgnè. Saturday opened at 1:30 PM with the Aperi Drift for fundraising, followed at 6:00 PM by the official inauguration with the ribbon-cutting, the opening of the street food area at 8:00 PM, and motor exhibitions and shows starting at 9:00 PM, until closing around 11:45 PM. Sunday resumed at 9:00 AM with rally car, drifting, and prototype exhibitions, street food from 12:30 PM, and the conclusion of the event at 6:30 PM.
The street food was managed by the Pro Loco of Valperga-Belmonte, while the funds raised supported the Italian Red Cross - Cuorgnè Committee and the local Fire Brigade. There was no shortage of memorial awards and recognition for enthusiasts and organizers.
