Culturinarika is the summer festival that brings the Val d'Ega, in the province of Bolzano, to life every July, celebrating the perfect marriage of culture, live music, and South Tyrolean culinary arts. The event spans three evenings across the valley's villages, with the music-focused leg – Music under the Stars – held in Collepietra/Steinegg, a village in the municipality of Cornedo all'Isarco/Karneid, overlooking the UNESCO World Heritage Dolomites.

A night of concerts under the starry sky

The heart of the evening is live music: the open-air stage hosts a rotating lineup of bands from the vibrant South Tyrolean music scene, ranging from modern brass and rock to blues and pop. The atmosphere is that of an intimate, convivial mountain village, with the audience gathered around the stage as evening falls and the stars appear above the Dolomite peaks. Alongside the music, enjoy craft beers, cocktails, and local gastronomic delights.

Culture and flavors of the Val d'Ega

Music under the Stars is one of the three pillars of Culturinarika, alongside the Dorfkuchl gastronomic evening in Nova Levante and the Art Affair circus arts show in Nova Ponente. The festival highlights the valley's local products and recipes, reinterpreted with creativity, offering visitors an experience that weaves together music, cuisine, and landscape. Collepietra is also known for its connection to the night sky – it is home to the South Tyrol Planetarium – making a concert evening under the stars even more magical.

An event for everyone

The evening features free admission and is designed for a wide audience: families, music lovers, and tourists staying in the Latemar and Catinaccio areas. The venue is located on the Collepietra village terrace, offering panoramic views; in case of bad weather, the event moves to the local cultural center. Organized by Eggental Tourismus / Val d'Ega Tourism, Culturinarika has become a staple of the summer season in the municipality of Cornedo all'Isarco/Karneid and throughout the Val d'Ega, in Trentino-Alto Adige.
