The 2026 edition, the 37th, marks a special moment: the route, starting from Évian-les-Bains and passing through Megève and Serre-Chevalier, chooses Courmayeur as the final destination for the first time. At the foot of Mont Blanc, in the Aosta Valley, the Jardin de l'Ange welcomes the lead car to kick off the closing ceremony, while on Sunday morning the parking area of Via delle Forges hosts the exhibition of the cars, open to enthusiasts and the curious.

The arrival in Courmayeur is also enhanced by the screening of Coupe des Alpes – The story of the 1958 Alpine Rally, John Armstrong's 1959 documentary that recounts the epic of the Alpine rally.
