Established in the early 2000s, the event surpassed its twenty-fourth edition in 2025 and continues to attract hundreds of participants every spring: the last edition saw around 650 runners at the starting line, ranging from registered athletes to walking enthusiasts.

The format remains true to the spirit that gives the event its name: running and walking. Alongside the competitive runners tackling the timed 10-kilometer course, there is plenty of room for walkers, families, and those simply looking to enjoy a morning of outdoor exercise. The course

The route winds entirely through the town center of Casaluce: a flat urban loop of approximately 10 kilometers, with the start and finish in Piazza Statuto, the heart of the event. Streets are closed to traffic for the occasion, and refreshment stations are set up along the route for the athletes. The flat nature of the course allows for fast times and makes the event accessible even to less experienced participants.

Remembrance and solidarity

The race is dedicated to the "Felago Gabriele Memorial" and is organized by the Inter Club of Casaluce, a historic landmark of local community life. The sporting aspect has always been accompanied by a charitable and community-focused dimension: the event is a meeting point for running clubs from the province of Caserta and the entire Campania region, who turn out in large numbers.
