National youth soccer tournament on the Teramo coast
The Coppa Costa dei Parchi is a national youth soccer tournament held every spring in Alba Adriatica, a renowned seaside resort in the Province of Teramo, Abruzzo. Established in 2013 through a partnership between SSD Sport in Tour and the Costa dei Parchi Hotel Consortium, the event has grown into one of the most anticipated youth amateur soccer fixtures in central Italy, drawing thousands of young athletes, families, and supporters to the Adriatic Riviera.
The tournament, authorized by the F.I.G.C., welcomes over three hundred clubs from all over Italy, including soccer schools and youth academies of professional clubs such as Roma, Fiorentina, Bologna, Atalanta, Ascoli, Pescara, Inter, and Ancona. Teams are divided by age group and match format:
Matches take place at the Luca Vallese Sports Field and various other sports facilities throughout Alba Adriatica and neighboring towns, in a spirit of healthy competition where the experience matters more than the final score.
The Coppa Costa dei Parchi is part of the Sport Senza Confini circuit, a sports tourism project promoted by SSD Sport in Tour that brings the Val Vibrata and the Teramo coast to life every year with over ten events between spring and early summer. The event, sponsored by AiCS and supported by the Municipality of Alba Adriatica, the Abruzzo Region, and local authorities, is designed to blend sports with local hospitality: families stay in the Hotel Consortium's accommodations, discovering the sea, local cuisine, and authentic Abruzzese hospitality.
Beyond the matches, the Coppa Costa dei Parchi offers entertainment organized by the AnimaSiT team, opening parades, award ceremonies, and activities for children. The winning teams in each category earn a spot in the Champions Sport in Tour circuit finals. This edition reaffirms Alba Adriatica's status as a premier destination for sports tourism, successfully combining athletic competition, inclusion, and the promotion of the Costa dei Parchi region.
The 2026 edition of the Coppa Costa dei Parchi brought Alba Adriatica to life from April 24 to 26, 2026, kicking off the spring calendar of the Sport Senza Confini circuit, sponsored by AiCS. The program followed the established format: check-in and technical meeting on Friday, with the opening parade of the teams; qualifiers and semi-finals on Saturday; finals and award ceremonies on Sunday morning. Youth categories from 2012 to 2018 competed on the fields, with clubs arriving from all over Italy. The event confirmed Alba Adriatica as a benchmark for sports tourism in Abruzzo, with over 37,000 estimated attendees across the entire 2026 circuit.
Alba Adriatica is accessible by car via the A14 motorway (Val Vibrata exit) and the SS16 Adriatica state road. By train, the local station is Alba Adriatica-Nereto-Controguerra, on the Bologna-Bari Adriatic line. The nearest airport is Pescara-Abruzzo, approximately one hour away.
Club registration is handled by the SSD Sport in Tour secretariat. Full-board accommodation packages are available at the Costa dei Parchi Hotel Consortium facilities. For information: [email protected], tel. +39 392 9050296.
