The Abruzzo craft beer festival in Collecorvino
This edition has not been confirmed by the organiser to date. We recommend checking before going.
CoolBeer Fest is a festival dedicated to Abruzzo's craft beers, held in Collecorvino, a small hillside town in the province of Pescara, in the heart of Abruzzo. The event was born in 2018 from the initiative of a group of young people from the Pro Loco Corbino and has established itself over the years as one of the most anticipated events of the Collecorvino summer, blending a passion for quality beer with the conviviality typical of Abruzzo's villages.
The heart of the festival is the craft beer, strictly produced within the Abruzzo region. Local breweries take turns at the taps, offering a wide variety of styles and recipes that showcase the region's growing brewing scene. Since its early editions, the festival has featured producers such as Beer Tona from Montebello di Bertona, Birrificio Maiella from Pretoro, and the agricultural brewery Golden Rose Beer from Pianella, highlighting a craft movement deeply rooted in the hills and mountains of Abruzzo.
Accompanying the tastings are arrosticini, the undisputed symbol of Abruzzo cuisine, along with grilled sausages, sandwiches, and other local street food specialties. The formula combines traditional flavors with more modern offerings, perfect for an evening spent relaxing with a pint in hand.
Every evening is enlivened by live music, with concerts and bands of various genres entertaining the public until late. The setting in the historic center, framed by the picturesque Convento di San Patrignano, helps create an atmosphere of cheerfulness, unity, and joy—values that the organizers place at the heart of the event.
Organized by the youth section of the Pro Loco Corbino with the patronage of the Municipality of Collecorvino, CoolBeer Fest is, above all, a community project carried out by a large group of volunteers. Admission is free, and the festival is a great opportunity to discover an authentic village in the Pescara hinterland while supporting small producers and celebrating Abruzzo's gastronomic traditions.
CoolBeer Fest returns to Collecorvino, in the province of Pescara, with the 2026 edition of the festival dedicated to Abruzzo's craft beers. The exact dates and program have not yet been announced: the event traditionally takes place in September in the village's historic center. We recommend following the official social media channels to learn about dates, participating breweries, and musical events as soon as they are communicated.
Collecorvino is located in the hilly hinterland of the province of Pescara. By car, it can be reached from the A14 motorway (Pescara Nord-Città Sant'Angelo exit) or the A25, continuing along the provincial roads that climb up to the village. The nearest airport and train station are in Pescara.
Admission to the event is free. The evenings generally start from 7:00 PM onwards. Beer tastings and street food are paid for individually at the various stalls.
We recommend arriving early to enjoy the historic center and checking the updated dates and program on the official CoolBeer Fest social media channels before traveling.
