Music, theatre, and food & wine in the Monferrato Torinese
The Confluenze Festival is the summer cultural programme of the Municipality of Cavagnolo, in the Province of Turin, in the heart of the Monferrato Torinese. Its name reflects the town's geographical position, located at the point where the Dora Baltea flows into the Po: a borderland between plains and hills, crossed by rivers and historic routes. Born as an initiative to bring live culture back to the community's iconic landmarks, the festival has become a staple of the Piedmontese summer.
The Confluenze Festival programme is intentionally multidisciplinary, spanning diverse genres and languages. It ranges from narrative theatre to classical music reinterpreted with a contemporary twist, and from evenings dedicated to the Piedmontese rap and hip-hop scene to gourmet stops that highlight local products. The beating heart of the festival is the Art Nouveau park of Villa Martini, an elegant setting for evening shows, complemented by Piazza Vittorio Veneto and other locations around the town.
Recent editions of the festival have featured a rich and varied calendar:
Confluenze Festival is much more than just a series of events: it is an opportunity to discover Cavagnolo and the Monferrato Torinese, an area that is part of the UNESCO MAB CollinaPo Biosphere Reserve. The evenings, with free admission subject to availability, combine high-quality artistic performances with the pleasure of a walk through the hills, vineyards, and villages of the Piedmont Region. The event is sponsored by the Metropolitan City of Turin and supported by the Collina del Monferrato Torinese Trade District, with the collaboration of local associations such as Cavagnolo.COM and the G.A.T.
The 2026 edition of the Confluenze Festival is confirmed by the Municipality of Cavagnolo, which has launched its customary search for sponsorships to support the event. The detailed calendar has not yet been published: as soon as it is released, this page will be updated with dates, the programme, and the protagonists of the new edition.
