The Ladin village festival
Col in Festa is the village festival of Colle Santa Lucia (Col in Ladin), a small municipality in the province of Belluno in the heart of the Agordino, overlooking the Civetta group and a short distance from the Giau Pass. The village retains a strong Ladin identity, and it is precisely this cultural heritage that is the common thread of the event.
A day of tradition and flavours
The festival takes place in the historic centre and features stands from local associations, a small artisan market, and typical Ladin cuisine, with specialities like balote and gulasch. There is also a cultural corner curated by the Istitut Ladin Cesa de Jan, with guided tours of exhibitions and moments of insight into the Ladin language and traditions.
Culture, family, and the Dolomites
The programme includes activities for children, demonstrations of ancient crafts such as hay mowing, theatrical sketches in the Ladin language, and the opportunity to discover the firefighters' museum. A family-friendly festival, capable of uniting the community of Colle Santa Lucia and welcoming visitors in one of the most evocative settings of the Belluno Dolomites.
Col in Festa — edition 2026
Col in Festa will return in the summer of 2026 to the historic centre of Colle Santa Lucia, following the traditional placement on the last Saturday of August (in 2025, Saturday 23 August).
For 2026 too, the festival will reprise its formula: stands from local associations, an artisan market, typical Ladin cuisine, and cultural moments curated by the Istitut Ladin Cesa de Jan, on a day designed for families and visitors.
Programme Col in Festa 2026
The precise date and detailed programme for the 2026 edition will be published by the Colle Santa Lucia tourist office in the weeks preceding the festival.
The usual structure includes, from the morning, the opening of food stalls and Ladin cuisine, the artisan market, guided tours of the Istitut Ladin Cesa de Jan's exhibitions, activities for children, and demonstrations of ancient crafts.
