A cultural series on the environment at Castel Belasi, in Val di Non
Clima di Pensiero is a cultural festival promoted by the Municipality of Campodenno, hosted at Castel Belasi, a frescoed medieval castle overlooking the Val di Non in Trentino-Alto Adige. The castle, now a contemporary art center dedicated to ecological thought, becomes a summer venue for collective reflection on nature's delicate balance and the environmental challenges of the present day.
The festival brings together some of the nation's most renowned researchers, university professors, and science communicators, inviting them to explain complex topics—such as climate, biodiversity, ecosystem health, and the relationship between environment and economy—in an accessible way. The evenings, which are free and open to all, combine scientific rigor with clear language to provide citizens with concrete tools for knowledge and awareness.
The series was born from a collaboration between the Municipality of Campodenno, the Artistic Direction of Castel Belasi, and important local Trentino institutions, including the MUSE - Science Museum, the Edmund Mach Foundation, the La Pimpinella Association, SAT Val Cadino, and the Pro Loco Castel Belasi. Each edition engages with the contemporary art exhibitions hosted in the castle, creating an original bridge between scientific research and artistic expression.
Attending Clima di Pensiero means enjoying an evening of culture in the open air at one of Trentino's most fascinating castles, combining the pleasure of discovering the alpine landscape of Val di Non with reflection on the future of our planet.
The second edition of the festival focuses on biodiversity, one of the most important yet least perceived themes of our time. From July 8 to 26, 2026, Castel Belasi welcomes researchers and university professors for three evenings and a final day of events. This edition engages with the exhibition "Signal from the Earth," curated by Stefano Cagol in collaboration with MUSE, dedicated to the soil as an invisible but fundamental element for life.
