In the summer of 2026, the calendar of Cisternino, one of the most beautiful villages in the Valle d'Itria in the province of Brindisi, is enriched with a new event: the Cisternino Beer Fest. The festival makes its debut with its first edition on August 21 and 22, 2026, bringing two evenings of beer, live music, and conviviality to the heart of Puglia.

The festival takes place in the Sottovilla, the area below the historic center, specifically in the Parcheggio Miravalle space. The choice of this location is no coincidence: the event was created with the goal of reviving and enhancing this part of the town, returning it to the community and visitors as a vibrant stage during the summer season.

Two evenings of taps, stalls, and music

The program for the two days revolves around two main protagonists: beer and live music. Alongside the beer taps, food stalls offer street food and specialties to pair with your drinks, while concerts keep the evenings lively until late. The organizers, a group of renowned local businesses, have also announced the presence of surprise guests who will enrich the lineup.

The season's events include the Notte della Taranta Festival, which stops in the city for the first time, performances from the Sherocco Festival, exhibitions in historic palaces, and, in September, the historic Fiera della Bomminella. In this mosaic of events, the beer festival adds a more popular and youthful note, designed for those looking for music and fun in the late August evenings.

Cisternino, famous for its trulli, whitewashed alleys, and the 'fornelle' grills where you can taste the delicious 'bombette', confirms its status as a landmark for summer tourism in Puglia, blending food and wine traditions with new entertainment offerings.
