Every year, as the holiday season approaches, the Parco Belvedere Extramurale Pertini in Ruvo di Puglia transforms into a truly enchanted village. The Christmas Markets have become a highly anticipated event for families and children from across the city and neighboring towns—a wonderful way to experience the magic of Christmas together in the heart of Puglia, in the province of Bari.

A Christmas village for the whole family

The park is decorated with themed scenery, guiding visitors through giant inflatables, Santa's house, a reindeer-led sleigh, a castle with a slide, and friendly mascots roaming the paths. The poetic heart of the event is the artistic nativity scene set up inside the park's trullo, which blends traditional Apulian nativity craftsmanship with the cozy atmosphere of an ancient stone shelter.

Crafts and gastronomy

Along the pathways, artisan stalls offer ornaments, decorations, and gift ideas, while food stands fill the air with the typical scents of an Apulian winter.

Music and entertainment

The event is organized by the National Bersaglieri Association, Ruvo di Puglia branch, with the patronage of the Municipality of Ruvo di Puglia. Admission is free, reflecting the popular and inclusive spirit of the initiative, designed to bring the community together to celebrate the values of the holidays. Ruvo di Puglia, a town in the Murgia area famous for its ceramic tradition and the Jatta Museum, offers visitors yet another reason to explore its historic center during the Christmas season.
