Choco Italia in Tour is the travelling fair for artisan chocolate that, for the first time in Umbria, stops in Spoleto (province of Perugia), in Piazza Garibaldi with free admission. A delicious event that brings master chocolatiers from several Italian regions to the city.
Pralines, specialities and chocolate factory
The market brings together producers from different regions â Piedmont, Molise, Campania, Calabria, and Umbrian and Perugian masters â with pralines, Giffoni IGP hazelnuts, liquorice and sweet specialities. The heart of the event is the European travelling chocolate factory, run by masters from Perugia, with educational workshops on cocoa processing, the "Become a Chocolatier" experience, and the "Grandparents and Grandchildren" afternoon.
Shows and solidarity
For families, the Mauro Apicella National Marionette Theatre offers puppet shows with Pulcinella. The event also includes a solidarity initiative, "The Healthy Snack", with fresh local bread and artisan hazelnut cream, the proceeds of which support the Spoleto association "Il sorriso di Teo".

From March 19 to 22, 2026, Choco Italia in Tour brought its artisan chocolate fair to Umbria for the first time, choosing Spoleto and Piazza Garibaldi as the fourth stop on its tour. Free admission and continuous opening from 10:00 AM to midnight.
The market brought together master chocolatiers from five regions â Piedmont, Molise, Campania, Calabria, and Umbria â with pralines, Giffoni IGP hazelnuts, liquorice, and typical sweets. The European travelling chocolate factory, managed by masters from Perugia, offered educational workshops on cocoa processing, the "Become a Chocolatier" experience, and the "Grandparents and Grandchildren" afternoon. The National Marionette Theatre by Mauro Apicella animated the square with puppet shows, while the "The Healthy Snack" solidarity initiative supported the "Il sorriso di Teo" association.

Piazza Garibaldi is located in the lower part of Spoleto's centre, easily reachable from the train station (Rome-Ancona line). By car: Spoleto exit from the SS3 Flaminia.
