The Chestnut Festival and Beer Festival of Castelvero, renamed Octobervest, is one of the most anticipated summer events in Val d'Alpone, in the municipality of Vestenanova, province of Verona, Veneto. It takes place in the hamlet of Castelvero, in the Lessinia mountains, and transforms the small village into a major meeting point for beer and good music enthusiasts.
Beer, gastronomy, and folklore
The program, spread over several evenings, features food stalls, a well-stocked bar dedicated to beer, and plenty of live music, including bands, DJ sets, and themed evenings. There are also folkloric events that make the festival unique: the traditional 'Goose Walk' and the fun Goose Racing, the true stars of the event.

Organized with the support of the Pro Loco and local organizations, the Castelvero festival often culminates in a fireworks display that beautifully concludes the festive days.
