Two evenings of crafts, local flavors, and live music on the Cerveteri coast
Every summer, the Cerenova district, part of the municipality of Cerveteri and overlooking the Tyrrhenian coast north of Rome, comes alive with the Cerenova Market. This evening event transforms Via Veio, in the heart of Marina di Cerveteri, into a vibrant path filled with stalls, colors, and music. For over fifteen years, this event has drawn locals and vacationers alike, creating the relaxed, family-friendly atmosphere typical of summer evenings on the Lazio coast.
Along Via Veio, at the corner of Viale Angelucci, you will find exhibitors dedicated to crafts, collectibles, antiques, and fashion jewelry, featuring many handmade products, vintage items, and original gift ideas. There is no shortage of food stands offering regional specialties and street food, accompanying your evening stroll with the scents and flavors of the region.
Accompanying your evening shopping are live music and street performances: roving artists animate the route, while bands play the greatest hits of the seventies, eighties, and nineties, creating a festive and engaging atmosphere suitable for all ages. It is a simple and convivial way to enjoy summer evenings outdoors, surrounded by great music and good company.
The market edition serves as a prelude to the Cerenova White Night, scheduled for July 25th along Via Sergio Angelucci. Returning after a few years of absence, it features stalls, gastronomy, roving shows, and music until late at night. The market weekend thus becomes the start of a festive period for the entire district.
Located in the Lazio region, in the province of Rome, Cerveteri is famous for its Etruscan heritage and the Banditaccia Necropolis, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Its marina, including the districts of Cerenova and Marina di Cerveteri, offers beaches and services just a few kilometers from the historic center: the summer market is the perfect opportunity to combine a day at the beach with an evening of strolling, shopping, and music.
The Cerenova Market kicks off summer 2026 with two evenings along Via Veio, in the Cerenova district of Marina di Cerveteri. From 7:00 PM, the street transforms into a path of stalls and shows for all ages, featuring artisanal products, collectibles, antiques, and food stands with regional specialties.
