The Centauri della Scala dei Turchi Motorcycle Rally is one of the most distinctive motorcycling events in the province of Agrigento. Every year, at the start of summer, the rally brings together bikers and enthusiasts from all corners of Sicily in the town of Realmonte, along the coast that hosts the famous white marl cliffs of the Scala dei Turchi. The event is organized by the Centauri della Scala dei Turchi club, led by Carmelo Lattuca, and has quickly become a benchmark for the island's biking community.

Bikes, beach, and a festive atmosphere

What makes this rally special is its setting: the bikes gather at the Mari Damuri area, in the Pergole district along Via Caserma di Finanza, just a stone's throw from the sea. The organizers always remind participants to bring their swimsuits and flip-flops, as the rally alternates between engine revs and coastal rides with moments of relaxation on the beach. It is a formula that fuses a passion for two wheels with the natural beauty of the Agrigento coastline.

The first edition of the rally took place in 2023, enlivening Piazza Umberto I in Realmonte with the participation of bikers from across Sicily, a charity book drive, local craft displays, and live blues music. Since then, the event has grown year after year, maintaining its spirit of camaraderie and shared passion for motorbikes, establishing itself as a highly anticipated date on the summer calendar for Realmonte and the entire province of Agrigento.
