About Cengio Festival
The great festival of the Bormida Valley
Cengio in Festa is the highlight event at the start of summer in Cengio, a municipality in the Bormida Valley in the province of Savona, a stone's throw from the border with Piedmont. The event takes place in Località Isole, where music, gastronomy, engines, and the unmissable funfair, open for the entire duration of the event, are concentrated for five days.
Gastronomy and ballroom dancing
The gastronomic offer is one of the strong points: every evening the Franco Marraccini Festival Hall offers curated menus, from fish to street food, including "All Fish" evenings. After dinner, the dance floor comes alive with great ballroom orchestras, a living tradition in the festivals of the Ligurian and Piedmontese hinterland.
The motorcycle rally and two wheels
One day is entirely dedicated to engines with the Motorcycle Rally Memorial "Tucci in motu au Ceng": gathering in the morning, tour in the Langa region, blessing of the motorcycles, and a convivial lunch, followed in the afternoon by the "Spritz Party" with a DJ set. The festival, organized by the Pro Loco of Cengio, is part of the Autentici Liguri events and concludes on June 2nd, Republic Day, with "Fisarmoniche in Festa" (Accordions in Celebration).
Cengio Festival — edition 2026
The 2026 edition of Cengio in Festa takes place from May 29th to June 2nd in Località Isole. Five days alternating gastronomic menus, dancing evenings with great orchestras, the Sunday motorcycle rally, and the funfair open for the entire duration of the festival.

Friday, May 29th
- 7:00 PM — Opening of food stands dedicated to fish and street food (burgers, hot dogs, chili, fries, and beer, with Valley Island)
Sunday, May 31st — Motorcycle Rally
- 9:00 AM — Gathering for the 7th Eugenio Goso and Marco Bertola Memorial Motorcycle Rally ("Tucci in motu au Ceng"); 50 km tour in the Langa region, blessing of the motorcycles, and subsidized lunch
- 4:00 PM — "The Spritz Party" with DJ set
Monday, June 1st
- 7:00 PM — Special "All Fish" menu
- 9:30 PM — Dancing with the great orchestra of Matteo Bensi
Tuesday, June 2nd — Republic Day
- "Accordions in Celebration" from the morning

How to get there
Cengio is located in the Bormida Valley, on the border between Liguria and Piedmont. By car, it can be reached from the A6 Turin-Savona (Millesimo exit) or from San Giuseppe di Cairo. Cengio train station is on the San Giuseppe di Cairo-Bra line.
Times and admission
The food stands open every evening from 7:00 PM. Free admission, funfair and consumption are charged. The motorcycle rally requires registration for participants.
