About Cassero Fair
A Terni Fair Tradition
The Cassero Fair is one of the four historic fairs that the Municipality of Terni approves each year in its commercial calendar, along with the Fair of San Valentino, the Fair of San Matteo, and the Fair of Santa Lucia. It is an event deeply rooted in city life, attracting locals and visitors from neighboring towns.
Through the Streets of the Center
The fair takes place in the heart of the city, occupying Piazza Ridolfi, Via Colombo, Via dell'Annunziata, and Largo Frankl. Along the stalls, you can find clothing, household items, gastronomic products, sweets, and crafts, in a popular festive atmosphere that enlivens the center of Terni for an entire day.
In Terni's Calendar
As with other city fairs, the date may be changed to avoid coinciding with home games of Ternana Calcio, to ensure adequate deployment of law enforcement. The Cassero Fair remains one of the most anticipated events of the Terni autumn, in the province of Terni, the capital of southern Umbria.
Cassero Fair — edition 2026
The Municipality of Terni has included the Cassero Fair in the 2026 fair calendar with the date Sunday, November 22. The fair will occupy Piazza Ridolfi, Via Colombo, Via dell'Annunziata, and Largo Frankl, in the heart of the city.
As with other city fairs, the date remains subject to not coinciding with home games of Ternana Calcio. The detailed program (number of stalls and layout) will be defined by the municipal administration closer to the event.

The Cassero Fair is a one-day commercial fair: from morning until late afternoon, the streets of the center host stalls selling clothing, household items, gastronomic products, and crafts. The detailed layout of the stalls will be communicated by the Municipality of Terni closer to the date.

How to get there
The fair takes place in the center of Terni, a city reachable by train (Rome-Ancona and Rome-Terni lines) and by car via the E45 and the Terni-Orte expressway.

Free entry. Stalls and stands open all day.
