About Saint Lucy's Fair
The fair that announces Christmas
The Saint Lucy's Fair is the last of the four historic fairs on Terni's commercial calendar and is held just before Christmas, on the occasion of Saint Lucy's feast day. With its stalls and winter atmosphere, it marks the city's entry into the Christmas season.
Through the streets of the center
The fair takes place between Piazza Ridolfi and the streets of the center, the same ones that host the Cassero Fair. Along the stalls, you can find clothing, household items, sweets, crafts, and gift ideas, in a day of celebration that combines shopping and popular tradition.
In Terni's fair calendar
Together with the fairs of Saint Valentine, Saint Matthew, and the Cassero Fair, Saint Lucy's Fair completes the cycle of the four traditional fairs approved each year by the Municipality of Terni. As with the others, the date remains subject to not coinciding with home games of Ternana Calcio. An anticipated event in Terni's December, in the province of Terni and the capital of southern Umbria.
Saint Lucy's Fair — edition 2026
The Municipality of Terni has set the Saint Lucy's Fair for Sunday, December 13, 2026, between Piazza Ridolfi and the streets of the center. On Saint Lucy's feast day, the stalls will offer clothing, sweets, crafts, and gift ideas, bringing the atmosphere of the approaching Christmas to the city.
As with the other city fairs, the date remains subject to not coinciding with home games of Ternana Calcio.

Saint Lucy's Fair is a one-day commercial fair: from morning to late afternoon, Piazza Ridolfi and the streets of the center host stalls selling clothing, sweets, household items, crafts, and Christmas gift ideas. The exact layout of the stalls will be determined by the Municipality of Terni closer to the event.
