The Carosino Beer Fest

The Carosino Beer Fest is the summer event dedicated to beer and live music held in Carosino, a small town in the province of Taranto, Apulia. Every year in mid-August, the Via dello Stadio area transforms into a large beer village featuring a concert stage, food stalls, and entertainment zones, drawing visitors from across the Ionian region and the nearby Salento.

Beer, food, and conviviality

The festival owes its name to the star of the show: beer, served in various styles ranging from local labels to craft brews. It is paired with a wide selection of street food, including sandwiches, fried snacks, grilled dishes, and Apulian regional specialties. The atmosphere is that of a classic summer village fair: open-air tables, families, groups of friends, and a relaxed vibe that lasts until late at night.

Music and entertainment

Each evening features a unique musical identity, ranging from live concerts by emerging Apulian bands to DJ sets, and from reggae and soul sounds to themed nights, such as parties dedicated to the nineties or the world of cosplay and cartoons. The organizers' formula is designed to entertain a broad and diverse audience, from children to young adults.

A local event

The Carosino Beer Fest is organized by the Il Simposio dello Ionio association together with Event Sound Music, under the patronage of the Municipality of Carosino. Having quickly established itself as one of the most popular local summer events, it serves as a gathering point for the community and an opportunity to discover an authentic corner of the Taranto province far from the main tourist circuits. The entry fee is kept intentionally symbolic, with free admission for children and people with disabilities, ensuring the event remains accessible to everyone.
