An evening dedicated to wine and local flavors
Carmine DiVino is the food and wine event that each year transforms the historic center of Medicina, a municipality in the Metropolitan City of Bologna in Emilia-Romagna, into a large open-air lounge dedicated to quality wine. Created to promote the culture of drinking well and local gastronomic excellences, the event is organized by the Municipal Administration of Medicina in collaboration with the I Portici di Medicina Association, with the support of local sponsors.
Tastings and producers
The heart of the event is the tasting journey: the public can sample wines from numerous wineries, choosing from labels of the Emilia region and selections from other Italian regions. Alongside wine, there is also space for artisanal gin, local craft beers, and quality cured meats, for a complete experience that tells the story of tradition and oenological craftsmanship.

Carmine DiVino — edition 2026
The fifth edition of Carmine DiVino will be held on Friday, June 12, 2026, starting at 8 PM, in the cloister of the Palazzo comunale of Medicina (Via Libertà 103). The event is organized by the Municipal Administration in collaboration with the I Portici di Medicina Association, with the support of local sponsors such as BCC Ravennate Forlivese e Imolese, Confcommercio Bologna, and Scatolificio Medicinese.
The evening offers a tasting journey through wine, artisanal gin, beers, and quality cured meats, accompanied by live music.

Program for the evening of Friday, June 12, 2026:
- From 8 PM: Opening of the tasting stands in the cloister of the Palazzo comunale
- Wine tastings with the wineries: Azienda Agricola Zanardi Alessandro, Palazzo di Varignana, Cantina Cusumano, Tenuta Masselina, Cantina Montezovo, and Cantina Mingazzini
- Artisanal gin: Elly's Gin, 100% Italian gin inspired by the aromas of botanicals
- Craft beers: Birra di Mezzo, local artisanal selection
- Cured meats: Centro Carni di Medicina
- Live music: AfterGlow Acoustic Duo, violin and guitar repertoire

How to get there
Medicina is located in the Bolognese plain, easily reachable by car from the SS9 Via Emilia and the A14 motorway (Castel San Pietro Terme or Imola exit). By train, Medicina station is served by the Bologna-Portomaggiore line. The event takes place in the historic center, on Via Libertà.
Tickets and tastings
Admission is free. Tastings can be purchased on-site with two options: 3 tastings for 12 euros or 5 tastings for 18 euros.
Tips
The event is held in the evening: appropriate attire for summer evenings is recommended. Bars and restaurants are available in the center to complete your evening.
