The flavors of Brianza over three weekends of celebration in Casatenovo
The Campofiorenzo Salami Festival is one of the longest-running and most beloved gastronomic festivals in Lecchese Brianza. Born in the hamlet of Campofiorenzo, in Casatenovo in the Province of Lecco, it has surpassed its fiftieth edition and continues to attract thousands of gourmets every year. The credit goes to a simple and winning formula: the authentic flavors of the territory, served in an atmosphere of popular celebration.
The absolute protagonist is traditional Brianza cuisine. Among the menu's highlights: sandwiches with salamella or zampone, polenta taragna, casoncelli, trippa, brasato, cassoeula with polenta, nervetti, and porchetta. Alongside traditional dishes, there are stands from local cured meat producers and exhibitors, with a market dedicated to local products.
The event takes place over three weekends, for a total of eight days spread between late April and May. Each evening features live music with local bands, karaoke, and entertainment, while inflatables and animation are set up for the little ones. Admission is free, and the parish sports field on via Don Consonni becomes the town's meeting point for weeks.
Organized by the parish and volunteers of Campofiorenzo, the Salami Festival is much more than a festival: it's an identity-defining event for the community of Casatenovo, capable of keeping Brianza's gastronomic tradition alive and transforming the arrival of spring into an occasion for the entire area to come together.
The 2026 edition, the 51st, will liven up Campofiorenzo for eight days spread over three weekends: April 25-26, May 1-2-3, and May 8-9-10. The venue at the parish sports field on via Don Consonni is confirmed, with free admission. The menu features the great classics of Brianza cuisine with a new addition this year: the smash burger, alongside salamella, zampone, polenta taragna, casoncelli, trippa, cassoeula, brasato, nervetti, and porchetta.
The event is structured over three weekends of celebration, each with food, exhibitor stands, and evening entertainment:
