The Chestnut Festival of the Laghetto Committee is the event that brings the flavours of autumn to Giussano, a municipality in the province of Monza and Brianza. It takes place in the square of the Church of San Francesco, in the Laghetto area, the same place that hosts the Committee's other initiatives throughout the year.
Two Sundays of Roasted Chestnuts
On two Sundays in October, the Laghetto Committee offers the chance to taste delicious roasted chestnuts and immerse yourself in an atmosphere filled with autumn colours. It's an informal and family-friendly occasion to gather outdoors, amidst the warmth of the braziers and the pleasure of being together.
The Laghetto Community
Like all the activities of the Laghetto Committee, the Chestnut Festival is born from the spirit of volunteerism and community that animates the neighbourhood. An event that is smaller in scale but significant in substance, marking the autumn in Giussano and renewing the bond between the Committee and the local residents.

In 2026, the Laghetto Committee is hosting its Chestnut Festival on two Sundays in October, the 11th and 25th, in the square of the Church of San Francesco in Giussano. On both days, you can taste roasted chestnuts and immerse yourself in the colourful autumn atmosphere.
