Cerveteri's creative village featuring comics, gaming, crafts, and live music
Caere Village is the new cultural festival in Cerveteri, in the province of Rome, Lazio. The name pays homage to Caere, the ancient Etruscan center from which the city originates, perfectly capturing the spirit of the initiative: transforming the Parco della Legnara—just steps from the gardens of Castello Ruspoli—into a vibrant village where comics, gaming, art, and craftsmanship converge for an entire weekend.
The first edition took place on May 16 and 17, 2026, welcoming over thirty exhibitors, including comic artists, illustrators, designers, collectors, and artisans. A world of original artwork, board games, video games, gadgets, and collectibles finally found a dedicated space in a region where such events were previously rare.
The essence of Caere Village lies in the fusion of genres and passions. Throughout the park, visitors can explore:
The atmosphere is that of an informal, inclusive community festival, where the public can stroll among the stands, meet the authors, try out games, and enjoy music until late in the evening.
Caere Village is a strictly local project, born from the dedication of a group of local young entrepreneurs and supported by the newly formed Pro Loco of Cerveteri alongside the Assocerite association. The event was held under the patronage of the Municipality of Cerveteri and the Lazio Region. The organizers aim to turn Caere Village into a permanent fixture for the city, a cultural and social investment for years to come.
Visiting Caere Village is also the perfect opportunity to discover Cerveteri, one of the most fascinating towns on the coast north of Rome. The city is home to the famous Banditaccia Necropolis, a UNESCO World Heritage site and a symbol of Etruscan civilization. With its rich archaeology, historic center, and proximity to the sea, the area offers plenty for visitors looking to combine the event with a trip through Lazio.
