A new community festival in Ciociaria

The C'eraora Festival debuts in the summer of 2026 in San Vittore del Lazio, a village at the southern tip of the Frosinone province, nestled at the foot of Mount Sambucaro and just a stone's throw from the border with Campania. The event stems from the meeting of two local associations, Matti da Mangiare and Le Civette Sub6, who envisioned a festival with a slow pace: good food, activities for all ages, engaging music, and a strong desire for togetherness.

The spirit of the festival

More than just a traditional food festival, C'eraora is a community day built around the values of short supply chains and conviviality. The heart of the event is the promotion of local and seasonal products: enjoy a farm-to-table lunch, sip an aperitivo with countryside street food, and toast with craft beers and local wines. The market, workshops, and live music revolve around the table, in a format designed for families.

The daily program

• 11:00 AM — Opening of the local produce and craft market;
• 12:30 PM — Lunch with seasonal and local products, with meat and vegetarian menus;
• 2:00 PM - 7:00 PM — Educational workshops for children;
• 2:30 PM — Photography walk at the Parco della Memoria with Ilaria Copogrossi and Luisa Ceccotti;
• 6:30 PM — Aperitivo with countryside street food, craft beers, and local wines;
• 7:30 PM — Blues concert with The StrangeLovers.

Music and photography

The festival's soundtrack is provided by the blues of The StrangeLovers, who close the day with a sunset concert. For photography enthusiasts, the photography walk at the Parco della Memoria is an opportunity to explore the landmarks of San Vittore del Lazio with fresh eyes, accompanied by two local photography guides.

San Vittore del Lazio, between history and nature

The municipality of San Vittore del Lazio, in southern Lazio, is known for its perched medieval village and for the memories of the Second World War, which left deep scars here related to the Battle of Montecassino: it is no coincidence that the Parco della Memoria is one of the town's symbolic sites. The C'eraora Festival adds a summer event to the local calendar that combines Ciociarian gastronomy, nature, and culture, confirming the vitality of the associations in the Valle del Rapido and the entire province of Frosinone.
