The Brunnenfest is organized by the Schützenkompanie Andrian, the local company of Schützen. The Schützen are historic South Tyrolean riflemen's companies, serving as guardians of the traditions, costumes, and cultural identity of the South Tyrolean valleys. Their involvement makes the Brunnenfest not just a celebration, but an opportunity to strengthen local community ties through deeply rooted customs.
