The Festival of the Bormio Districts

The Festa Bormina ai Giardini is one of the most cherished popular events in Bormio, in the province of Sondrio. It is organized by the Reparti di Bormio, the historic districts into which the town is traditionally divided, and takes place in the green setting of the Gardens of Piazza V Alpini, in the centre of the Alta Valtellina village.

Valtellina Cuisine Takes Centre Stage

The heart of the festival is the local gastronomy: typical Valtellina dishes for lunch and dinner, from pizzoccheri to mountain flavours, served at the stands set up among the garden trees.
