In the heart of Trieste, the Borgo Teresiano – the elegant 18th-century district commissioned by Maria Theresa of Austria, with its Grand Canal and neoclassical palaces – serves as the backdrop for the Borgo Teresiano Wine Fest. Organized by Intraprendi in collaboration with the Municipality of Trieste, the event celebrates the region's wine, particularly from the Carso area, in a journey through flavors, art, and crafts.

Tastings, Wine Walks, and Sunset Picnics

The program revolves around tastings: from the guided 'Borgo Teresiano Wine Walks' led by sommeliers to the many regional labels on offer. Among the most evocative experiences are the Sunset Wine Picnics on Molo Audace, featuring typical Triestine products overlooking the Gulf, and 'Twist diVino', a mixology offering that reinterprets local wines in cocktail form.

Jazz, Culture, and Crafts

Alongside the wine, the festival offers jazz music – with concerts and jam sessions involving students from the Tartini Conservatory – aperitifs, cultural moments, and spaces dedicated to local crafts. This combination makes the Wine Fest not just an oenological showcase but a 360-degree experience in Trieste's historic center.

A Young but Already Beloved Event

Launched in 2025, the event presents its second edition in 2026, confirming the formula that intertwines wine, music, and urban beauty. It's the perfect opportunity to discover the oenological richness of Friuli Venezia Giulia while strolling through one of Trieste's most characteristic districts.
