Borghi DiVini — Monghidoro stop

An evening of wine and flavours on the Apennine ridges

Borghi DiVini is a travelling summer event that enlivens the villages and hamlets of the Bologna Apennines with tastings of local wines, food and wine, encounters, and diffused music. For the 2026 edition, the calendar includes thirteen evenings spread between June and September, and Monghidoro, in the Metropolitan City of Bologna (Emilia-Romagna), joins the circuit for the first time as one of the new entries, hosting the inaugural stop.

The event in Monghidoro

The Monghidoro evening opens the Borghi DiVini event on Saturday, June 20th, 2026. Like all stops on the format, it takes place from 6 PM until late evening, with free admission and no booking required. The villages and glimpses of the town transform into a tasting journey: tasting points set up in the streets and squares, wines from local producers and wine shops, dishes of Apennine tradition, and diffused musical accompaniment.

The format and the involved municipalities

Borghi DiVini was conceived by the cooperative Foiatonda and involves several municipalities in the upper and middle Savena and Setta valleys. In addition to Monghidoro, the 2026 edition includes San Benedetto Val di Sambro, Castiglione dei Pepoli, Monzuno, Pianoro, and Loiano, with various locations involved in each municipality. The philosophy is to discover the authentic villages of the Apennines by combining the pleasure of a glass of wine with the rediscovery of the landscape and local communities.

Organisers

The event is organised by the Foiatonda cooperative with the support of Confcommercio Ascom Bologna and Bologna Welcome, in collaboration with the municipalities and local traders' associations. The aim is to promote the food and wine culture and hospitality of the Bologna Apennines, creating a summer rich in widespread, village-centric events.
