Two weekends in May in the heart of Val Leogra, dedicated to the symbolic cured meat of Torrebelvicino
The Bondola Festival is one of the most cherished events in the Alto Vicentino and takes place every year in Torrebelvicino, in the province of Vicenza, along Via Antonio Fogazzaro. The absolute star is the bondiola (also called bondola), a tasty and delicious local cured meat made from salted and pressed pork, typical of the Turrita area and the Val Leogra.
The food stall, managed by the volunteers of the Pro Loco Torrebelvicino, offers bondiola accompanied by polenta, but also Vicenza tradition specialties such as gargati col consiero, gnocchi, and grilled sausages. The evenings are enlivened by bands and ballroom orchestras, in a popular festival atmosphere that attracts visitors from all over the foothills.
The festival is not just about gastronomy: the program includes a panoramic walk through the hamlets and woods of Val Leogra and an e-bike tour, designed to let you discover the hilly landscape between Schio, Torrebelvicino, and the slopes of Tretto. A way to combine food with outdoor activity, in one of the greenest valleys in the Vicenza area.
After a few editions of pause, the Bondola Festival has firmly returned to Torrebelvicino's spring calendar, confirming itself as one of the town's identity festivals and an opportunity to support the Pro Loco's activities in the area.
The Bondola Festival 2026 in Torrebelvicino (VI) is spread over two weekends in May, May 8-9-10 and May 15-16-17, 2026, on Via Antonio Fogazzaro. Organized by Pro Loco Torrebelvicino, the festival features a food stall with bondiola, specialties from Val Leogra, music and dance evenings, and two events dedicated to sport and the territory.
The festival booklet with the detailed program and parking map is published on the official website sagradellabondola.com.
