BirrArti: craft beer by the seaside

BirrArti is a food and wine event that brings the culture of Abruzzo craft beer to the beach of Montesilvano, a coastal town in the province of Pescara, Abruzzo. The event transforms a stretch of the Lungomare Aldo Moro, in the area that hosts the Jova Beach Party, into a village dedicated to hops and local excellence, framed by the Adriatic Sea.

A village of breweries and local flavors

The heart of the festival lies in the stands of Abruzzo microbreweries, where they present their craft creations and share the stories behind their styles, ingredients, and brewing techniques. Alongside the taps, visitors will find a wide array of street food: from the essential arrosticini to gourmet sandwiches, fried treats, and local specialties, offering a culinary journey that celebrates the region's finest products.

Workshops, music, and seaside evenings

Beyond the tastings, BirrArti offers workshops with limited capacity led by master brewers and beer sommeliers, designed to introduce enthusiasts and the curious alike to the world of craft beer through guided pairings and samplings. Each evening, the program is rounded out with live music and DJ sets by local artists, keeping the beach buzzing until late in a festive and informal atmosphere.

A highlight of the Montesilvano summer

Promoted by the Municipality of Montesilvano, BirrArti is part of the city's rich summer calendar, which accompanies residents and tourists throughout the beach season with festivals, concerts, and gastronomic initiatives. Its winning formula—combining artisanal products, local cuisine, and seaside entertainment—makes it one of the most anticipated events for those spending their summer on the Pescara coast.
