The widespread festival of theatre, music, art, and wellness on the Belvedere of La Morra
Overlooking the amphitheatre of Barolo vineyards, the Belvedere of La Morra is one of the most beloved viewpoints in the Langhe, in the province of Cuneo, at the heart of a landscape recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage site. Every summer, for four days in early July, this natural balcony comes alive with Belvedere dal Vivo, a widespread festival that brings entertainment, culture, and conviviality to Piazza Castello and the village alleys.
The strength of Belvedere dal Vivo lies in its variety: a single event that brings together open-air cinema for families, international puppet theatre, wellness sessions, live music, and DJ sets, alongside street artists who colour the historic centre. It is a programme designed for all ages, from children to contemporary theatre enthusiasts, with a keen eye on inclusion and social connection.
Belvedere dal Vivo is organized by the Municipality of La Morra with the support of VisitLaMorra, the Teatro del Fiasco, the G. Rubino Civic Library, and the Cantina Comunale, with the backing of the Fondazione CRC. Admission to all events is free, and street food and bar points are available on-site during the evenings, perfect for enjoying the show with a glass of Barolo or a drink at sunset.
Participating in Belvedere dal Vivo is also the perfect opportunity to discover La Morra and the Langhe: walks among the vines, cellar visits, tastings, and unforgettable sunsets from the Belvedere. The festival combines the cultural dimension with the food and wine excellence that makes this corner of Piedmont famous all over the world.
The 2026 edition of Belvedere dal Vivo is confirmed in La Morra from July 2 to 5, on the panoramic Belvedere of Piazza Castello, in the heart of the Langhe.
Among the already announced events, Friday, July 3 sees the return of international puppet theatre from the Burattinarte Summertime Festival, featuring miniature performances by Chilean artists Cristian Palacios Miller and Ana Maria Sepulveda, and "C'era due volte un piede" by the Italian-Argentinian artist Verónica González, a master of foot theatre.
The detailed programme for all days, which according to the festival's usual structure includes open-air cinema, sunrise yoga, concerts, DJ sets, and street performers, will be published by the organizers closer to the event. Admission is free.
The full programme for the 2026 edition will be announced by the organizers in the weeks leading up to the event. Below are the already confirmed appointments.
