A new addition to the Forio summer

The Beer Festival makes its debut in the summer calendar of Forio, one of the most beloved towns on the island of Ischia, in the Province of Naples and the Campania region. The event is scheduled for Saturday, August 8, 2026, starting at 8:30 PM, and is one of the new initiatives promoted by the local administration to enrich a summer season featuring over twenty events between June and September.

An evening of beer, flavor, and music

True to the tradition of beer festivals, the evening combines the conviviality of draft beer with the pleasure of good food. In the center of Forio, you can soak up the relaxed atmosphere of August evenings, among stalls, culinary aromas, and music, in a setting designed for families, young people, and tourists vacationing on the Green Island. It is an informal opportunity to gather outdoors, toast with friends, and enjoy the town late into the night.

The context: Forio's summer program

The Beer Festival is part of the new strategy of the Municipality of Forio, which has released its 2026 calendar in advance, featuring over sixty events spread throughout the year. The goal is to better distribute tourist flows and offer visitors an extra reason to discover the area even outside peak days. Alongside the beer festival, the Forio August program features the traditional 'Giovedì Foriani', exhibitions at La Colombaia, food festivals, and Ferragosto celebrations.
