Craft beer, live music, and Irpinian cuisine in the heart of Montemiletto
This edition has not been confirmed by the organiser to date. We recommend checking before going.
Beer Fest Montemiletto is the late-September event that transforms the town of Montemiletto, in the province of Avellino, into a lively hub dedicated to craft beer. The festival is promoted by the AMIP Eventi e Mercati association with the patronage of the local municipal administration and spans three consecutive days, featuring beer taps, local cuisine, and live music.
The concept behind the event is simple and deeply rooted in Campania: bringing together craft brewing culture, fine food, and entertainment in an accessible setting with a strong community spirit. It is not a niche festival for connoisseurs, but a town celebration where a pint becomes a reason for different generations to meet.
The heart of the Beer Fest is the beer tap area, complemented by food stalls offering dishes designed to pair with various beer styles. Fried snacks, sandwiches, charcuterie boards, and specialties of traditional Irpinian cuisine define the evenings, while guests move freely between counters, communal tables, and the stage.
The musical program is one of the key ingredients that has helped the event grow. Each evening features live musical performances and entertainment, with bands and cover acts playing a mix of Italian and international hits. The 2025 edition hosted an evening dedicated to the greatest hits of the 70s, 80s, and 90s, as well as a tribute concert to Vasco Rossi by the official cover band Anima Spericolata.
Alongside the beer and concerts, the Beer Fest reserves space for children, with attractions and entertainment that make the event suitable for the whole family. The format, with late afternoon openings on weekdays and all-day service on Sunday, allows visitors to drop by for an aperitif or stay for the entire evening.
Montemiletto is a village in Irpinia that enjoys a particularly rich event season: from summer patronal celebrations to cultural festivals promoted by the municipality and local associations, to the historical re-enactment organized by the Pro Loco. The Beer Fest serves as the closing event of this calendar, when the air turns crisp and the festivities naturally gather around the beer counters.
For those visiting the province of Avellino, the event is also a chance to discover a hilly landscape known for its wines and gastronomic traditions, located just a short distance from Avellino and easily accessible from the main routes of inland Campania.
Admission to the festival area is free; beer and food are paid for at the individual stalls. The organization provides exhibition spaces for interested operators, which can be booked by contacting the AMIP association. Dates and programs for each edition are announced through the event's social media channels and local Irpinian news portals.
At the moment, no official dates have been published for the 2026 edition of the Beer Fest Montemiletto. The event calendar released by the Municipality of Montemiletto for the 2026 season does not yet include the event, which in past editions took place on the last weekend of September.
If confirmed, the festival is expected to feature the established format: craft beer on tap, cuisine and street food, live music every night, and attractions for children, with free admission to the festival area. This page will be updated as soon as the organizers announce the official dates and program.
Montemiletto is located in the province of Avellino, in inland Campania. By car, it can be reached via the A16 Naples-Canosa motorway, taking the exit in the Avellino area and continuing along provincial roads. The reference railway station is Avellino, which is connected by bus lines to local towns.
Access to the event area is free. Beer, drinks, and food can be purchased directly at the stalls at typical village festival prices.
