Three days of free international music on the beach of Marina di Ravenna
The Beaches Brew Festival has become a benchmark for indie and experimental music in Italy over the years. Founded in 2012, it takes place every year at the beginning of June on the beach of Bagno Hana-bi, one of the most iconic establishments on the Romagna Riviera, in Marina di Ravenna, a seaside fraction of the Municipality of Ravenna, in Emilia-Romagna. Here, between dunes, sea, and pine forest, the festival has built an unmistakable formula: three days of concerts with completely free admission, with two stages directly overlooking the sand.
Curated by the Bronson Cultural Association, Beaches Brew stands out for its bold lineup, far from the logic of major commercial festivals. Each edition brings together dozens of artists from different continents and cultures, in a musical dialogue ranging from indie rock to electronic music, from world music to radical experimentation. Emerging names from the international alternative scene and research projects that are difficult to hear elsewhere in Italy alternate on stage.
The thirteenth edition takes place from Tuesday 9 to Thursday 11 June 2026 and brings artists from fourteen countries and four continents to the beach of Marina di Ravenna. The program alternates concerts on the Roof Stage and the Beach Stage, featuring, among others, the afrofuturist collective Fulu Miziki from Kinshasa, the The Zawose Queens from Tanzania, the psychedelic trance of Japan's Super Jet Kinoko, and the sets of Ireland's M(h)aol. Opening the festival, on Monday, June 8, is a warm-up party at Amsterdam Pub.
What makes Beaches Brew special is not just the music, but the environment: you watch the concerts with your feet in the sand, at sunset over the Adriatic, in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere that has made it a small early-summer ritual for the Romagna public and for independent music enthusiasts from all over Italy and Europe. The festival is entirely free and suitable for a curious and open-minded audience.
Capital of Byzantine mosaics and a UNESCO World Heritage site, Ravenna combines the charm of its extraordinary historic center with the vibrancy of the Adriatic coast. Marina di Ravenna, with its beaches and clubs, is the seaside heart of the city: the ideal setting for a festival that celebrates the encounter between cultures, sounds, and landscape.
The 2026 edition of the Beaches Brew Festival celebrates independent music from around the world with three evenings of free concerts on the Roof Stage and Beach Stage at Bagno Hana-bi.
Among the artists scheduled: the afrofuturist collective Fulu Miziki from the Democratic Republic of Congo, The Zawose Queens from Tanzania, Joshua Idehen, M(h)aol, Madra Salach, Memorials, Camilla Sparksss, Super Jet Kinoko, La Valentina, Los Sara Fontan, Juliรกn Mayorga, Prewn, Good Flying Birds, and Kodaclips, as well as DJ sets by Napoli Segreta, DJ Fitz, and Carte Gold.
