A Review That Makes the Lughese Summer Sing
Lugo Summer Live is now a regular fixture of the summer in Lugo, in the heart of Bassa Romagna in the province of Ravenna. Now in its eleventh edition, the review transforms the CRAI ESSECI area at Via Scarabelli 1 into a stage under the stars for three months, where the public gathers every Friday evening to listen to the great classics of music live.
The Heart of the Festival: Tributes
The winning formula of Lugo Summer Live is the tribute bands and homages to the stars of Italian and international music. A journey that spans rock, pop, jazz, blues, and singer-songwriter genres, capable of satisfying diverse tastes and making entire families sing along. Over the years, homages have been paid to Elvis Presley, Mina, Ligabue, Pink Floyd, Guns N' Roses, Zucchero, and many others, always with the artistic care of Livio Venturini.
Music and Solidarity
One of the most beautiful aspects of the event is its charitable soul. Each edition pairs music with a fundraising campaign to support local and non-local organizations: for 2026, the festival supports the Associazione randagi della Bassa Romagna ODV of San Potito and projects dedicated to children affected by wars. Thus, the evening is experienced with the pleasure of good music combined with the satisfaction of contributing to a concrete cause.

Lugo Summer Live — edition 2026
The eleventh edition of Lugo Summer Live takes place from June 5th to September 4th, 2026 in the CRAI ESSECI area at Via Scarabelli 1 in Lugo, under the artistic direction of Livio Venturini. Twelve evenings spanning the entire summer, every Friday at 9:30 PM, with a food & drink area open from 8:00 PM. The charitable spirit of the review is also confirmed this year, with a fundraising campaign to support the Associazione randagi della Bassa Romagna ODV of San Potito and projects for children affected by wars.

The songs of Lucio Battisti and Mogol in concert.
Friday, July 17th — Zeppel ON, Led Zeppelin Tribute
The international rock of Led Zeppelin recreated live.
Friday, July 24th — Tarumbo, Homage to Pino Daniele
A journey through the repertoire of the great Neapolitan singer-songwriter.
Friday, August 7th — James Thompson Trio
The great American saxophonist, frontman for Zucchero, in a funky, blues, R&B, and jazz concert.
Friday, August 21st — Fireball, Deep Purple Tribute
Tribute to the historic British hard rock group.
Friday, August 28th — Abbashow
Show dedicated to ABBA.
Friday, September 4th — Ensemble, Homage to Ennio Morricone
Eight musicians and the soprano voice of Georgina Stailbow for a grand finale dedicated to the music of Ennio Morricone and the cinema of Sergio Leone.

Where

How to get there
By car: Lugo is accessible from the SS16 Adriatica and the A14 motorway (Imola or Faenza exits). By train: Lugo station is on the Lavezzola–Castel Bolognese line. The concert area is a few minutes from the station.
